This is where I will explain my second artefact
Song 2 Ableton track original song.
My second track I am submitting is recent work which I feel gives a promising idea of my capabilities in electronic music production with my arrangements, synthesis, and skills with audio effects. The final version of the song will include multiple synths and drum patterns from different elements of drum machine kits and variations of these patterns change as the song progresses, it will also include automation for things like volume, effects and filters which I think will give it more needed character and movement within the sounds to give a further groove to each element. The synths I will be using are self-synthesized using wavetable with some delay, reverb and then layered and stacked with synths I used from serum and further manipulated, this leaves me with a bright hypnotic sound mostly manipulated by the delays and reverbs . These skills have been getting worked on since the start of my course now and I feel that in this time I have improved greatly with my music production and mixing compared to some of the tracks I used to put out which were usually lacking in places like volume mixing and overly processed. My recording and mixing have helped these things as I have been gaining experience in seeing the reasons for mixing instead of just guessing and hoping it would be right and I feel that I could now produce a full mastered track if tasked by a third party or if I am the one wanting to make the song. Some of the plugins I used for synths are no longer available to me as I do not pay for them anymore but the original patch is still saved in the plugin to hear, this has been a setback as I have things I want to change about it but cannot get into the parameters but this has left me improving on other things such as the percussion, cymbals and bass.
